Fashion of the 1920's.....

While I'm working on Lillian I'm reminded of one of my favourite periods between 1914 and 1929. I think it's the slim line of Lillian's coat with that large fur collar and most of all I think it's her hat that is reminiscent of that time period. Did you know foreheads were not considered fashionable?

Just for fun here is a mini clip showing some fashions in the day.....

Take care:)

My goodness. Maybe fashion has always been slightly strange. But I did enjoy that and I do like that flapper style of dress.

Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video! I will have a look at more videos of this era, as I can use some of those wonderful accessory ideas with my mannequins.
Love those acrobatic women.Modern models couldn't do this in the new high heeled shoes could they?
Great fun!
Oh no more blurred letters for me to figure out below...

Fun video....but oh so glad I live in the 21st century. Funny what people believe to be fashionable in their day! Wonder what videos will pop up about us 100 years from now.

I never had a forehead, so I'm all for these clothes. I do have a little cloche hat (which is perfect for us people with no forehead) Thank you for the video, very cute!
