WOYWW #134

Not a darn thing:)

Just some fabric. I'm moving stuff around. I'm sorting out some of my stash.........trying to be more organized. Everything was piled up and it was becoming precarious and I couldn't find anything.....arrggghhh.

See......I've sorted all my fat quarters and folded them all nice and neat:)

Ha........it really is a delaying tactic on my part because I can't get my act in gear. I'm being lazy creatively. The time between Christmas and New Year's is like the doldrums for me......I float aimlessly waiting for something to happen..........sigh.

For more desks go here....and take a look:) See you next year.......

Sorting and organizing is part of the creative process for me! Allow yourself the time and hopefully revel in it! Merry, Merry, Happy, Happy!!!

Doldrums! That is the best way to describe it! I have the same thing Christmas to New Year's. My work is closed and that many days off in a row make me crazy. I shuffled things around my desk for days too. I think even though it doesn't seem to be that productive it really is, gets you set up for the next thing.

These last few days, I'm feeling the need to sort out some of my mess too! It must be the closing of the old year and looking forward to the new one! Hope you have a great New Year!

Oh Mary Anne, I think that the organising is less a delay tactic and more a way to re-connect...I don't know why, but the forced break of Christmas, as lovely as it is, seems very long in creative down time huh! It's a bit scared to get back to y our desk and. Just expect it all to start flowing again......you need something that has a deadline!!
